Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, and Bayon Temple are the most visited sites in the Angkor archaeological park, along with the unmistakable temple of Angkor Wat. This tour visits all of them in one day, with a guide on hand to share fascinating facts and historical background about the ancient temples. A small group limited to 12 ensures a personalized experience, and round-trip hotel transportation makes for a seamless trip.
Itinerary
Visit the magnificent temple, Angkor Wat, was built by Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, which symbolizes Mount Meru, home of the gods, and is considered the pinnacle of Khmer architecture. This Vishnuite temple is the King’s funerary temple, which is why the temple is oriented to the west. Inside the temple, the walls are covered by carvings and bas-reliefs depicting the Hindu mythology and the wars during the reign of Suryavarman II. Angkor Wat is also well-known for the 1800 Apsara dancers decorating the temple. It is said to take a lifetime to discover all the wonders of this temple.
